Commissions

Make a Difference GM provides a variety of services tailored-made to empower diverse communities.

Weekly Community Activities

We provide a variety of specialised community groups at several community centres in Stockport.

Weekly Community Groups

Make a Difference GM delivers weekly community workshops and support sessions at welcoming, accessible venues across Stockport – including Heaton Norris, Reddish, and the town centre.

With a strong presence throughout the area, we empower individuals from all walks of life to connect, grow, and thrive within their local communities. Our regular group sessions create safe, supportive spaces where everyone is encouraged to share, learn, and support one another.

We proudly offer tailored support to a diverse range of people, especially those who may be vulnerable or facing challenges. Our current initiatives include:

  • Young Women’s Voices

  • ESOL Conversation Clubs

  • Domestic Abuse Drop-ins (available both in-person and online)

  • Reddish Youth Group

  • SHINE Disabilities Group

If you're looking to boost engagement at your community centre or want to explore how we can support your local initiatives, get in touch – we’d love to work with you: hello@makeadifferencegm.org
