2025 Community Awards for IWD

This year's awards were virtual, as our CEO, Nadia Ali, was in London hosting an IWD  event in partnership with London Daily Digital and King's College London. With keynote speakers Prof. Helen Pankhurst (yes, that Pankhurst) and Sarah Cowley (founder of Curator of Uncommonground), and an array of other inspirational speakers, Nadia was honoured to host this special event.

The amazing contributions of the women of Stockport still needed to be recognised, so it was decided that we would do a 31-day online campaign showcasing the women who do their bit to improve the lives of others, locally. As well as highlighting some icons.
