About the event
Come and ask the mayoral candidates how they will address the needs of women and girls in Greater Manchester. Your interest might be because you are a woman, have a woman in your life, think it's important for policy makers to address women's interests and concerns, or because you work in a relevant area.
Please circulate this invitation across your networks. We are hoping to attract (and will reserve seats for) citizens/voters from all ten boroughs in the room, so it is truly representative.
All candidates for election to the Greater Manchester Mayoral By-Election on 30th July 2026 have been invited to attend this meeting. It is your opportunity to meet them and hear their responses.
GM4Women2028, convened by Helen Pankhurst CBE in 2018, is a critical friend to GMCA. The project has scrutinized women and girls' experience in five thematic areas:
Employment (i.e. economic factors)
Safety (in the context…
