What's On Heaton Norris Community Centre

Roots Kitchen
every Thursday
9:30am - 12:30pm

A friendly weekly community session where people can connect, learn practical skills like cooking and sewing, and feel at home in a supportive environment.

Art Attack
every Thursday
5pm - 7pm

A creative weekly session for self-expression through painting, sketching, card making and other artistic activities in a fun and supportive space.

Shine Group
every Wednesday
6:30pm - 8:30 pm

A welcoming weekly SEND social group for young people aged 14+, with arts and crafts, games, trips out and activities that help build friendships and confidence.

Make a Difference GM is a community-focused initiative founded by Nadia Ali, dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering positive change across Greater Manchester.

 

Our mission is to support vulnerable communities through inclusive programs and resources, addressing challenges such as social isolation, poverty, and people with limited access to opportunities. We work closely with local organisations, volunteers, and community members to provide essential services such as educational workshops, and wellbeing support.

 

At Make a Difference GM, we believe in the strength of community-driven action to create lasting impacts and uplift those in need, building a more compassionate and resilient Greater Manchester for all.
